Author and equine-facilitated learning pioneer Linda Kohanov will undertake her first-ever Australian tour this September. Within less than a week of posting these events, one workshop outside Sydney is already sold out with a waiting list, and another three-day intensive near Melbourne has only four spaces left. Luckily, Linda is also leading a half-day seminar and book-signing in Sydney for a larger group that will give people a chance to meet her and learn some key principles from her fourth and fifth books, The Power of the Herd and The Five Roles of a Master Herder.
“I’m very excited to travel to Australia for a variety of events, and I’m frankly quite surprised and gratified by the response,” Linda says. “The small group equine-facilitated intensives are more of an investment for participants because of the horses and facility costs, but people will get individual attention, small group insights, and deeper experiential learning opportunities that take us far beyond the limitations of words.”
“At the same time, I always like to do at least one indoor seminar for a larger group so people can sample the work with less of a time and monetary commitment. In the Sydney half-day seminar, we will learn how to take horse wisdom back to the human world through some human-to-human experiential activities, inspiring photos, and videos that capture surprising aspects of horse behavior.”
